Alek owns a master’s degree (Cum Laude) in IT and Business management with practical experience in various business and development methodologies. Since 2002, he has successfully used an iterative and incremental approach.In 2005, he implemented the Scrum framework at the Ministry of Finance of Estonia.

He has:

• prepared an Agile Procurement Framework to support iterative and incremental
  development when working with outsourcing companies.
• From 2009, consulting clients at Agile methods in telecoms, hardware, innovative energy
  storage technology, public sector, healthcare, fintech and other product/service development
  companies.
• In 2011, he started as Skype’s first full-time internal coach and trainer responsible for global
  agile and scrum transformation.
• Since 2014, he has been running Digital Marketing Agency
• Now he is acting as Product Owner and Executive producer for e-learning courses (Digital
  Marketing and Entrepreneurship)
• Alek is a Certified Trainer for the Active Agile Leadership Skills development program
